The Statewide Grand Jury handed up an indictment yesterday naming Eric Oneal on one count of murder and one count of 1st degree robbery. It is alleged that on or about January 28, 2009, Oneal murdered Melissa Delmonico. It is alleged that on or about that same date, the defendant robbed Melissa Delmonico in the 1st degree. The alleged incidents took place in Cranston. Cranston Police conducted the investigation. Oneal, AKA Eric J. Obeal, Erick J. Oneal, Erick Oneall, and Eric Wallace, who is currently held without bail at the ACI, will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on August 19, 2009.
