Project Description:
-Deliver custom applications within OnBase utilizing the Workflow, Workview, eForms, Application Enabler, and Verity Full-Text Search modules, as well as scanning solutions
-Candidate will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. The candidate will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
- Manage project tasks and provide guidance to junior team members
-Analysis and assessment of existing business systems and procedures
-Define software development project plans, including scope, scheduling, and implementation
-Ensure desktop/web applications conform to functional requirements, are consistent, easy and intuitive to use
-Work closely with team members to create consistent, reusable, and maintainable JavaScript code library
-Communicate with Onbase software vendor for efficient implementation of new products and custom applications for resolution of any issues
-Ability to identify Onbase vendor software enhancements and present complete and compelling arguments for recommended software changes to core modules
-Recommend and perform custom application improvements
-Design, run and monitor performance tests on new and existing applications for purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
-Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
-Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
-Train end users to operate new or modified applications
Technical Experience/Skills Required:
-5 years software development experience with a technical background in Visual Basic, ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript, Ajax, Microsoft Web Services, C# and technical knowledge of Oracle database structure and SQL queries.
-Solid experience with all phases of the software development life cycle
-Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
-Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
Non-Technical Skills Required:
-Experience leading small to medium size projects with multiple team members
-Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
-Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities
-Adept at conducting research into project-related and software-related issues and products
