WHAT: Senator Juan M. Pichardo and the Latino College Access Coalition of Rhode Island to honor Latino veterans

WHERE: State House, Providence
 
STATE HOUSE, Providence - Senator Juan M. Pichardo (D-Dist. 2, Providence) will join the Latino College Access Coalition of Rhode Island in an event to honor Latino veterans on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the State House.

 

Joining Sen. Pichardo will be Retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Ramon Martinez and members of the Latino College Access Coalition of Rhode Island. They will pay tribute to the Latinos who serve in the military, and the impact of the Montgomery G.I. Bill in helping soldiers earn an education while serving their country.

The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and open to the public.
