Two Calls to Your Legislators - No Cuts to the Arts!‏

The Governor's proposed cuts in the arts are moving fast in the Assembly.  In the next three weeks - two items will be up for public hearing in the House Finance Committee and we must send a message that funding for the arts - and the jobs that go with this - must be preserved.

Call your Legislators Today and tell them cuts in the state's investment in the arts will have a devastating impact on not only employees in the creative sector, but also the many who benefit from the sector's positive ripple effect and boost in our state's economy.

Make the call!  Follow the prompts at this link and use the provided talking points.  As a constituent, your legislator wants to hear from you.  We need to get the message to them that these disproportionate cuts are bad policy and bad business.  The talking points pop up talk about what little will be saved and how much will be lost.

Be sure to let us know you made the call using the feedback form at the end.  And thank you for taking action!
