MECHANICAL ENGINEER – Massachusetts (1 Yr Contract)

Design, develop, integrate and release to manufacturing a wide range of assembly’s on highly automated capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include design and prototype beam line systems, design and prototyping mechanisms, basic knowledge of servo control systems a plus. Also, must have good mechanical analysis abilities. Should be able to write specifications to be used by the automation group for software algorithm development.
Design mechanical systems and release them to manufacturing. This position will require good understanding of manufacturing processes in order to meet demanding cost targets. Work in a team environment is essential.
Pro/ENGINEER or SolidWorks design and 3-D modeling skills a must. Strong analytical stills and able to use numerical analysis packages such as Patran/Nastran, Matlab and CFD RC. Strong background in material science and materials use with ion implanters. Designs using creative solutions to problems.
Minimum of BS degree in ME required. (Optional: MSME Degree preferred)
